Spring 2026 Marketing Intern

As an Entertainment Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with marketing initiatives and client projects. This internship requires a minimum commitment of three days per week. Specific days and hours can be coordinated with your supervisor based on business needs and academic schedules.

This position reports to the Senior Account Coordinator and supports our team of project managers and account coordinators. This is an unpaid internship that will correspond with your educational study/school credit requirements.

    Qualifications:  

    • Current graduate student or undergraduate Junior or Senior  

    • Business, music, marketing, design, or psychology-focused degrees preferred  

    • Strong interest in entertainment and technology industries  

    • Experience in startups, marketing, and the entertainment industry are a bonus, but not required


    Hard Skills:  

    • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills (Preference given to great copywriters)  

    • Detailed knowledge of and experience with social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)  

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google products  

    • Aptitude for graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe)  

    • Experience with digital advertising (e.g., Facebook, Google, AdRoll)


    Soft Skills:

    • 1-3 years of background in executing marketing campaigns

    Hard Skills:

    • Expert-level written and oral communication skills. Preference given to strong copywriters and editors

    • Strong aptitude for creating visual content (e.g., Canva, Illustrator, Premiere, Final Cut)

    Ad Ops Specialist

    Bauer Entertainment Marketing is seeking an Ad Ops Specialist to execute, monitor, and optimize advertising campaigns across digital and traditional platforms for our music, sports, and entertainment clients. The Ad Ops Specialist will also compile and analyze performance data, prepare clear reports, and collaborate with account managers and creative teams to ensure campaigns align with client goals. 

    On an ongoing basis, the Ad Ops Specialist will provide BEM with insights, observations, and actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance, streamline ad operations, and maximize client results.

    This position reports to the Senior Digital Ads Specialist and will be partnering with other Specialists, Account Managers, Account Coordinators, and interns.     • Coordinate asset delivery and trafficking for TV, radio, display, video, and DOOH, ensuring compliance with specs and deadlines.

    • Collaborating with Project Managers to build campaign performance reports with a heavy focus on evaluating attribution data and campaign returns.

    • Reconcile media spend and vendor invoices, ensure accuracy and transparency

    • Expert-level written and oral communication skills. Preference is given to strong copywriters and editors

    Position Overview:

    You will work closely with our creative team and clients to ensure the creative content aligns with our vision and exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience producing and editing content specifically for the entertainment industry, ensuring high standards for visual storytelling, quality, and engagement.

    Key Responsibilities will potentially include:

    Pre-Production

    • Collaborate with the team and clients to understand project requirements and creative vision.

    • Develop and prepare detailed shot lists and storyboards in alignment with project objectives.

    • Assist with logistics for video shoots, including location scouting and coordinating with talent, crew, and equipment.

    • Provide recommendations for props, lighting, and camera setups to achieve the desired style and tone.

    Production

    • Capture and ensure high-quality creative by using proper lighting, sound, and camera techniques.

    • Coordinate with the BEM team during shoots to ensure shots are executed according to the vision.

    • Post-Production

    • Edit raw footage into polished creative content according to client specifications.

    • Incorporate motion graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and other post-production elements to enhance the creative.

    • Perform color correction and audio mixing to ensure a professional, high-quality final product.

    • Collaborate with clients and BEM team to revise edits based on feedback and deliver a final version of the creative.

    • Ensure that all final creatives are formatted and optimized for different platforms (social media, websites, advertising, etc.).

    • Maintain and organize creative files, ensuring smooth workflow and easy access to materials.


    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and produce content within project timelines.

    • Maintain communication with BEM team throughout the production process

    • Stay up to date with the latest creative trends, techniques, and technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production or post-production.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in either video or photo production and editing, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of content.

    • Required: Experience working and producing content for the entertainment industry (film, TV, music videos, festivals, or similar).

    • Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

    • Proficient in color grading, audio mixing, and incorporating motion graphics or animations (After Effects, etc.).

    • Ability to create and manage shot lists, storyboards, and production schedules.

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both the BEM team and clients.

    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
